Airport

The St. George Plantation Owners’ Association (SGPOA) offers owners and authorized guests the convenience of a 3300-foot paved landing strip on the island. Because this FAA-authorized airstrip is located within and maintained solely by a gated community, members of the public are permitted to land, but not to enter the private properties of the community. Any member of the public who wishes to use the airstrip must notify Plantation Security by phone at (850) 927-2362. The Plantation Airport has no lighting and fuel services are not offered.

ONLY OWNERS may purchase an annual airport landing permit for $100.00. Owners must complete an Airport Landing Annual Permit Form. Upon completion of the online form, payment can be made via this website or through the administrative office. The permit must be displayed on the airplane at all times. The permit is transferable between airplanes if all tail numbers are registered.

Owners' guests or renters:

For a landing and tie-down fee, you may land on the island and have access to the phones, chocks, and tie-down spaces at the airport. Overnight tie-downs are available by reservation only and are subject to availability. Please contact Plantation Security at (850) 927-2362 for prior approval prior to any overnight stay.

Landing Fee: $20.00
Tie-Down Fee: $15.00/Day

Please note: The island has no cab, taxi, or car rental agencies and the airport is unattended.

The Plantation Airport is entirely owned and operated by the SGPOA.
