About the Plantation

St. George Plantation is a gated coastal community on St. George Island, nestled along the Florida Panhandle in the Gulf of Mexico. Boasting five miles of pristine white-sand beaches, the island is framed by Apalachicola Bay to the north, with towering pines and low-density housing creating a serene atmosphere. Come experience the charm of sun-soaked island living, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and at night, marvel at the breathtaking, star-filled southern sky.

Our award-winning community features diverse neighborhoods linked by 12 miles of paved pathways that weave through scenic natural landscapes. More than half of our 500+ single-family homes are available as vacation rentals. Approximately 100 owners call the Plantation their primary residence. Whether full-time or part-time, most homeowners embrace their identity as islanders, actively participating in charitable and civic events across the broader Forgotten Coast community.
